Challenge
The current app lacks of clear access to payment information and options results in a significant operational cost for Consalud due to proactive notifications for overdue payments. Consequently, a substantial 25% of members pay their comtributions late, and the initial app experience contributes to a low user satisfaction score of 6.2 out of 10 regarding financial management within the app. This ineffective first impression hinders the adoption of self-service and increases the reliance on manual outreach for payment reminders.
Solution
I redesigned the initial view of the Consalud app to prioritize clear visibility and easy access to contributions payment information and functionalities. The goal was to empower members to manage their payments proactively, thereby reducing the high operational cost of delinquency notifications and improving the rate of timely payments. By streamlining this core task, we also aimed to increase overall user satisfaction with the app's ability to facilitate financial self-management.
